WHY AM I STILL HERE?

Why Am I Still Here? | 1 Samuel 16–18

Have you ever wondered, “Why am I still here?” You know God has called you. You know He has placed something inside of you. Yet somehow, you’re still in a place that doesn’t look anything like the promise.

In 1 Samuel 16–18, David was anointed to be king, but he didn’t immediately step into the palace as king. There was still a process. He faced rejection, battles, opposition, and even people who became threatened by what God placed on his life.

Sometimes God allows you to remain in a season because He is preparing you for where He is taking you. The waiting isn’t wasted. The battle isn’t meaningless. And the place you’re in right now may be developing the strength, character, faith, and endurance you’ll need for what comes next.

If you’ve been asking, “God, why am I still here?”—this message is for you. Don’t abandon the process because you haven’t seen the promise yet. If God anointed you for it, trust Him to bring you into it.
